I got in touch with Col Avdhesh after purchasing the Chi Running book in 2024 while I was recovering from a knee injury. Col Avdhesh is a true Dronacharya of Chi Running. 😊 He brings enthusiasm and fun to the process, offering tips and video analysis of running form. He generously offered to meet me in Bangalore for an impromptu Chi Running primer one morning. I then joined a workshop that he organized in Nov 2024 in Pune by Danny Dreyer, the founder of Chi Running. The workshop was amazing. Chi Running has been a revelation due to its Tai Chi roots, mindfulness in action, the emphasis on correct form, and most importantly, making running enjoyable. Running is much easier now and I hope to gradually move to running more regularly, free of injuries.
