I had the good fortune of attending two Chi Running workshops, one with Avdhesh Sir and the second with Mr. Danny Dryer himself. I can confidently say that attending these highly informative and useful sessions has been a game-changer for my running practice. Chi Running’s unique emphasis on posture, core engagement and relaxation has made my running feel smoother and more effortless. During the workshops, I really appreciated how Avdhesh Sir and Mr Dreyer broke down each concept—like the forward lean, midfoot strike, and cadence—in a way that was easy to understand and apply. By applying the basic Chi Running principles and form focuses to my running post the sessions, I have felt lighter on my feet and overall more in tune with my body. I have also experienced noticeably less soreness after races as well as reduced recovery time. Most importantly, since incorporating Chi Running, hill running has become smoother and more efficient, with reduced muscle fatigue and greater endurance on both short and long inclines. I highly recommend Chi Running to anyone who wants to run with less impact, fewer injuries, and more joy.
